1. Information We Collect
ProxiPoint is a field-sales planning web app and PWA for outside sales reps and field account managers. Depending on how you use the service, we may collect the following information.
Account information
When you create or sign in to an account, we may collect your email address, name if provided, and login/authentication information needed to operate your account.
Imported account and customer data
You may import account or customer lists into ProxiPoint. This may include company or account names, addresses, cities, states, ZIP codes, revenue or opportunity fields if imported, notes, contacts if entered, and other spreadsheet columns you choose to import.
App activity
We may store app activity you create or save, including visit logs, follow-ups, Today plans, notes, activity summaries, mileage report settings, preferences, and backup/export related data.
Location information
ProxiPoint may access device or browser location only when you allow it for features such as nearby accounts, optional visit proximity, or saving a current location as a mileage start/end point. ProxiPoint does not track users in the background. Location features are optional and user-initiated.
Technical information
We may collect technical information such as browser and device type, approximate usage logs, error information, IP address, and cookies or local storage where applicable.

3. How We Store Information
ProxiPoint uses Firebase and Google Cloud services for authentication, hosting, and database storage. The app may also store temporary or cached data in your browser to improve loading speed and offline or near-offline usability. Cloud data remains tied to your signed-in account.
You should not upload highly sensitive regulated data to ProxiPoint.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell imported account or customer lists.
We may share information with service providers that help operate the app, such as hosting, authentication, database, analytics, support, email, or payment providers if added later. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights, safety, or security, or with your consent.
5. Location Data
Location use is optional and requires browser or device permission. ProxiPoint may use location for current location, nearby accounts, optional visit proximity, and saved mileage base or current-location points. ProxiPoint does not use continuous background location tracking.
Mileage estimates may use saved visits and optional verified or saved start/end points. Actual driving mileage may differ.
6. Mileage Reports and Activity Summaries
Mileage Report is a beta estimate. It uses saved visits and optional start/end points when available. It is not guaranteed to match actual driving mileage.
Share Summary and activity reports are generated from saved user activity and may include manual entries. Users should review summaries before sharing them.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
ProxiPoint may use browser storage, cookies, or similar technologies for login/session behavior, app preferences, cached account data, and performance. If you clear browser cache, some local settings may be removed, but synced account data may reload when you sign in.
8. Data Retention
We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can export backups and delete synced account data from the app. Some backup, log, or security records may remain for a limited period if needed for security, legal, or operational reasons.
9. User Choices and Controls
ProxiPoint gives users several controls, including the ability to export a backup, delete synced account data, clear browser cache, sign out, contact support for help, and manage browser location permissions.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is 100% secure. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and using a secure device and browser.
